Game of Tomes Who Will Claim the Iron Tome?
Game of Tomes is a team-based event set in a modern, urban-fantasy world.
Writers choose a House to be their team and turn in word counts throughout the event month. The House with the highest word count at the end of the event wins the Iron Tome.
Events run three times a year:
Power of the Word
In our Lore, writers use powerful magic based on the written word, called Literomancy, to affect the world around them. We chose this because we truly feel that the written word can change people and ultimately our world.What will you write today?
How to Play
- Pick a House to represent
- Join a participating Game of Tomes stream
- Write! (or edit)
- Count your words using the rules to the right
- Select the Channel Point Reward for the House you are writing for
- In the text box, type the number of words you are redeeming
- If writing for a Minor House, type the name of the Minor House
- Hit enter, or the "Chat" button
- The bot will count your words. It will take 10-20 minutes for them to show up in your tally
- Words can be reported either one writing sprint at a time, or before the end of a stream

The following is counted at 20 words per minute:Handwriting
Handwriting is counted at 300 words per page, or at an average based on your own work.The Game of Tomes is not officially associated with Twitch.
